Le Touquet has a reputation as the most elegant holiday resort of northern France, the playground of rich Parisians, with many wonderful Cafes and restaurants. Stunning beaches and loads to do
Since the mid-1990s, Le Touquet’s villas have become extremely fashionable amongst architecture lovers throughout Europe, rediscovering the “folie” of seaside architecture of both the Roaring Twenties and the 1930s. The most famous local architect is Louis Quetelart, whose style was named after him: Louis Quetelart Style.
Our trip starts with Local pick ups start in Faversham, and include, Whitstable, Blean, Canterbury, Bridge and Whitfield on the way to the Port. Crossing with P&O Ferries then just over an hours drive to Le Touquet. You will have 5 and a half hours to do as you please before we head back to the ferry and home.
Timings and Pick ups as follows.
07:00 – Faversham – Pick up at the Shell Garage opp. Macknade.
07:15 – Whitstable – Pick up at the Longreach roundabout Canterbury bound bus stop.
07:20 – Blean – Pick up at the Bus Stop by Binnys Londis
07:30 – Canterbury – Pick Up at YMS Canterbury
07:50 – Bridge – Pick up at the White Horse Bus Stop
08:10 – Dover – Pick up behind the Whitfield McDonalds
08:25 – Check in at the Docks
09:25 Depart Dover on the Ferry
10:55 (11.55) Arrive in France
12:00 (13.00) Arrive in Le Touquet
17:30 (18:30) Leave Le Touquet for Calais
18:30 (19:30) Check in at Calais
19:35 (20:35) Depart Calais on the Ferry
21:15 Arrive in Dover and return to the drop offs.
